Precision Rifle - Load Development

Whether you're wanting to get into competition shooting, or you just want to set up a decent tack-driver for hunting, we can deal with your needs. Having a purpose-built reloading workshop means we have the best equipment available to ensure safe and repeatable hand-loads. All loads are developed and verified at a local range, and basic sight-in is included in this process, so you will end up with a recipe for success and a machine that is ready to deliver A typical load-development workup includes:

• Discuss reason / end goals for the specific load (competition, bush-hunting, long range hunting etc.)
• Check components for suitability and consistency
• Speed testing and group-tuning
  
• Confirmed zero for your rifle
• Drop-Chart provided for short to mid range hunting (sub-500m. We use Applied Ballistics for all charts)
• Your new recipe will be provided to you for future use

Price covers the development of a single load and we will need to have your rifle for this process. If this is not possible, we are able to load from scratch, however all load-to-order in that case would be to "book spec" due to known safety concerns with hand-loaded ammunition being used in other rifles.

Components are not included. We can either use customer-provided components, or we can source them for you, whichever is preferred. For any customer-provided cases, we will carry out an initial inspection. Annealing, Cleaning and Resizing may apply in the situation where we are provided used components, which will be at our standard pricing. Typical load-development will use somewhere between 30 and 50 cases. When supplying your own brass, ensure they are of matching type (brand/headstamp). In the case where your rifle is not up to a satisfactory state of operation, we may abandon load development, or may not be able to guarantee MOA accuracy or better. In this event, the situation will be discussed with you before proceeding any further.

Basic safety checks of your rifle are included prior to development, however to guarantee a great "out of the box" experience, we would suggest you consider having us assemble and check your entire setup.
